Ontario Masters Provincials

After 4 tournament weekends, 1948 goals scored, 348 games played, all 20 Masters Lacrosse teams will meet in Oakville Ontario to battle it out this weekend for championship glory. Will the reigning Weekend Warriors and Six Nations retain their titles, or will the season standings remain with Bramalea and Owen Sound keeping their top spots? Make sure you are there to check out the edge-of-your-seat action!

Ontario Masters has some incredible history, and Chris Sargent the curator of that history, the awards and great stories to tell. Pop up to the hospitality suite in the mezzanine to see all things Masters, grab a refreshing beverage, take a crack at the 50/50 pot, or drop some tickets into the raffle table -- many great prizes at a steal of a deal!

In addition to the great history of the Masters game, there are some incredible players with impressive resumes currently playing. You can see a starting list on the Masters Lacrosse Alumni Feed from the website. If you notice someone missing, let us know, or get their record started on the Alumni page.

There is no doubt that teams will be bringing their best games this weekend and it will be some great competition, with eyes on from the next generation. It would be remiss to forget Oakville Minor Lacrosse's contribution during the weekend, as they are running the bar upstairs and the BBQ at the entrance. Gotta keep those champion athletes in peak form fueled for the game.

Handing out top-in-the-league awards for player of the year, goaltending, sportsmanship, officiating and the commissioners award all occur on Sunday at noon. This is a great way to celebrate the 2024 season and all the hard work everyone has put into ensuring this great game is still being played.

There will be a lot of lacrosse experience at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre this weekend. Legends will be made, if you're in the area make sure that you get up there to check it out, someone might even learn a trick or two from an old dog!
